The right to speak, the right to speak
I am interested in the power of song to bring people together around what they value. Especially when they see what they value being compromised. So in honor of the 250th anniversary of the USA I decided to highlight a few key parts of the US Constitution that I consider important shared values.
In particular I'm interested in asking folks who might disagree on particular legislation to find common ground in what we can agree on.
This is set up for call and response, and bold is the response. Lots of room for improvisation here so have at it making new verses.
